Ethiopia, Shootout in Bus Station in Tigray. MSF in the Area Treats Wounded

On the morning of 12 April, 12 people wounded were taken to the MSF-supported Kidane Meheret hospital in Adwa, Tigray in Ethiopia.

The patients said that soldiers had shot at them near the bus station in the city.

“We are concerned about the ongoing violence in Tigray and we ask respect for human lives,” is the appeal by MSF that has provided medical treatment to the population in Tigray since mid-December 2020.

The organization supports several hospitals, manages mobile clinics and handles patient transfers.
