Sudan, a large number of activists and resistance committees under arrest

The October 25 coup authority in Sudan carried out large-scale arrest campaigns that resulted in the arrest of a large number of activists and resistance committees. Entities arrest activists by raiding homes and not revealing their identities or arrest warrants, which constitutes a serious violation of human rights in Sudan. In the past few days, unknown parties raided the house of the head of the “No to Women’s Suppression” initiative, the engineer Amira. They attacked the house late at night and wanted to take her without her clothes on, and she happened to be in the bathroom handicapped. Her sister, the armed security force tried to break into the house that her sister was handicapped and needed help getting dressed, but the security demanded that she wrap her in a sheet!! According to the report, the coup authority arrested a young man under the age of eighteen on charges of killing a police officer during the demonstrations in the country. The coup authority also opened malicious contacts against a number of opponents of the coup, including a minister, a lawyer, and members of the committee to dismantle the former regime.
